The 1320 square meter castle was built in 1714 for the Baron De Nogaret. The castle remained in the family until World War I, after which it was sold to an antique dealer. In the 1980's the castle was purchased by a Dutch couple, who ran a hotel and a restaurant in it. Eventually the castle was bought by a group of Finnish individuals, who split it into vacation apartments for their personal use.
The castle is located in Southern France, 170 km north from the Mediterranean coast and 590 km south from Paris, in a small village named St. Laurent d'Olt. The village lies on a small hill surrounded by the Lot river. At 550 meters altitude, the village offers open views on the surrounding typical French landscapes.
